Featured Dog Park

Mangatera Dog Park - Dannevirke

Lynne writes:
"When we go to dog shows we have favourite dog parks we go to. There is a lovely dog park at the end of Dannevirke township heading North (Mangatera Dog Park). It is a lovely place; fenced, grassed and trees and off the road. It’s on State Highway 1, opposite  the Mangatera Hotel. It has its own parking area that has a bin for rubbish or dog bags. On the other side opposite the fencing are trees and a drop to the river below. On a very hot day it’s heaven to walk in there with the dogs and even sit down and have a bite to eat."
