Featured Dog Park
Barry Curtis Park - East Auckland
Suvishka writes: "My puppy named Oreo loves to go to the park. He jumps up on the couch and points at his leash every day at 4:30pm. We think he knows how to read the time! His favourite park is the Barry Curtis Park in East Auckland. He is still learning to come back on command so we have to pop him on the long lead. He loves the long lead because it allows him to run, and run, and run. Oreo and the other pups play for ages and find sticks under the trees that are scattered throughout the park.
Near the park is the Ormiston Cafe which allows dogs to sit and enjoy 'puppichinos' and treats during their 'doggy hour'. Oreo loves heading over to the cafe after playing in the park. His friends follow him over there too." 😊
What is your favourite dog park or other pup play area? Let us know, and if your spot is featured in the next newsletter you'll win a bag of Natures Goodness Dog Treats plus $30 of Natures Goodness vouchers!
The Fox Project Update
Did you know that we have two in-house Pet Advisors that you can chat to about the perfect products for your pets? One of our Pet Advisors, Sam, has just returned from England for two months where she was volunteering at a wildlife hospital and charity called The Fox Project. Sam was caring for ill and injured foxes, badgers and more, and had lots of stories to share with us when she got back to Natures Goodness NZ Headquarters this week.
Here are some photos of the foxy friends she made during her time away. Sam notes that they have incredible facial recognition abilities and some got to know her quite well, which she found very rewarding.
Keep up-to-date with Sam's adventures via her blog or Facebook page.
